This is a beautiful hotel set in lovely surroundings. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The young man that greeted us on entering the restaurant area gave us a choice of seating and the service was very efficient, nothing was too much trouble catering for all your needs. Dietary requirements were also taken into consideration. We asked for extra tea and coffee which was brought over immediately. We were extremely full when leaving the restaurant. The owner asked if everything was OK with our afternoon tea and thanked us for coming. I would certainly recommend this hotel to people looking for something different.

Very Enjoyable
A very enjoyable afternoon tea at a wonderful setting. I am quite a big eater but could not finish all that was on offer. My wife ate about half of hers. And all very tasty.

Amazing afternoon tea for 2
Ty Newydd is a beautiful venue. I was able to drop off my elderly mother and her sister right outside reception which is important. The afternoon tea was of high quality with hot and cold food, the waitress was helpful and provided an extra teapot of hot water for ladies who are particular about their tea. Would recommend and would go again myself. Good experience that exceeded expectations.

Very tasty and well made. However, it had been advertised as a Welsh Afternoon Tea with Welshcakes and Bara Brith, but the Bara Brith was missing.

Lovely setting, shame about the weather.
Friendly staff, lovely tea. Really enjoyable afternoon. Road works (hopefully temporary) and their poor signing make it difficult to find venue but worth it when you get to Hotel.
