About the experience
Soar 80m above Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in just 34 seconds, then step out onto the ArcelorMittal Orbit 360 viewing platform with three companions beside you. On a clear day the panorama stretches up to 20 miles, close enough to pick out The Shard and St Paul's Cathedral across the skyline. Built for the London 2012 Olympics, the sculpture is as much a work of art as a vantage point, so there's plenty to admire before you look outwards. Head down the 455-step spiral staircase afterwards and a soundscape of the city plays you out.
