One Night Romantic Break with Dinner and Champagne for Two at Coombe Abbey 1098729

We stayed for one night at Coombe Abbey as part of our Anniversary Celebrations. We purchased the Romantic Break for Two which includes Champagne, Chocolates and Flowers. These elements alone add up to £100. Also included in the package is a three course evening meal for two (this doesn’t include drinks). However, the meal was fantastic and the service second to none. We were emailed a few days before our stay and invited to enhance it by putting in a bid to upgrade from what I assumed was already a beautiful room, to a suite of some kind. So I did and Wow, it worth every penny and more. Coombe Abbey has something for everyone. From a quiet walk in the woods to a ‘Go Ape’ experience, not for the faint hearted. Or you can sit and watch the world go by either in the tranquil atmosphere of the hotel or outside in the beautiful grounds. Coombe Abbey, set in beautiful surroundings and all the staff were only too happy to help. We will definitely return.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile - all the staff are very friendly and helpful and cannot do anything more to make your stay perfect. The rooms are out of this world- we stayed in the Chamberlain suite with an upstairs stand alone bath and steam shower. Food in the restaurant was excellent and again service was top rate. Location of the hotel is good- nice and easy to get to and very peaceful. The hotel has a fabulous interior with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Despite the hotel being full and having weddings and a Medieval banquet on, the service was outstanding and it was still very peaceful with no disruption. They said they were understaffed- but there was no evidence of this in the service you receive. great weekend away- will go back for sure.

We had a lovely weekend break for our 20th Wedding Anniversary at Coombe Abbey. The hotel was fantastic, relaxing, unusal and luxurious. The room was a little tired but overall we loved it. The flower, champagne and chocolate in our room was a lovely touch. It would have been nice if the room is warm when we arrived. It took a little while to get it up to temperature. Dinner was deliscious, a real treat and we loved the little hideouts and the bar. Overall a great place to experience and enjoy. The only unpleasant suprise was at check out. They charged us dinner supplement of £50 which was not something they mentioned at the point of booking. We were a bit dissapointed and put a dampener on our weekend. The cost would have not been a problem but charging for something after the event was not fair. We also pre-booked dinner so they had plenty of opportunity to discuss with us.

Coombe Abbey Romantic break was really wonderful, relaxing, wonderful food, chocolates, champagne and flowers, we love Coombe Abbey so much always feel special.

The whole trip was brilliant from start to finish! The reception staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to assist. We would definitely buy again!

The staff at Coombe Abbey were extremely attentive and friendly. The room was beautiful and had been recently redecorated. Dinner and breakfast were of a high standard and we would recommend this break completely. Booking through buy a gift was easy.
