Not great
Not great , no parking as advertised due to building work being done which isn’t advertised on the booking. There was no restaurant for breakfast. Windows were mouldy. Woken up at 8am by horrific drilling noises.

Be aware....!
I booked this for my wife's birthday in December and as there was no 'check-in' at the premises I was advised to ring 24hrs before to confirm arrival time etc. I did this only to find the main phone number was unobtainable so tracked to a mobile phone only to be told that the business had closed down in January!

Didn't even get to go as they rang on the day saying the hotel has closed
Still waiting for a respond about it the hotel rang up on the day we was going saying the hotel has closed down! Ridiculous service still waiting on a refund I would avoid at all costs

Lake District Night Stay
We were unable to go. But l find the options on buyagift poor & would never buy one! Whwn we rang the Horse & Farrier they were so understanding & helpful! When we got the voucher my initial thoughts were -oh no' as we have had one before!

Not as good as previous visit,was greeted by a chatty Australian chap who unfortunately smelt very strongly of cigarettes and immediately told us he needs our card and its £10 for parking in the hotel carpark of a quiet village ?? We didn't stay for evening meal this time as had plans but the breakfast cooked was pre cooked and left as it wasnt fresh it was very dry ....just feel a bit let down
