Anniversary gift
Lovely hotel in a quiet convenient location in York. Friendly helpful staff and a beautiful room with Aircon, to go with the glorious weather. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The hotel was fabulous and really good prices at the bar...
The carpark was a bit expensive at £25 per night and only 16 spaces but better than leaving in an insecure space.
The staff were absolutely amazing especially Hazel ????

Christmas present
We actually stayed in Knarsborough in North Yorkshire in the The Orchard Club Hotel it was absolutely gorgeous place to stay .Location was central.
The staff were very pleasent
The room we stayed in was very clean .
The bed was very comfortable
It was nice to have a tea tray with a variety of tea,coffee and hot chocolate. Also a fridge with alcohol and no alcohol beverages for a charge .
Breakfast menu was brilliant food was hot and very tasty .
I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Review is for buyagift only, not the hotel
I received a voucher for this stay and decided to book it back in January for a stay in March. I immediately had a query regarding the extra charge I paid, as there was a choice of 3 amounts so I paid the most, believing I would receive a better room. Contacted the hotel direct who told me there was only 1 type of room issued to these voucher no matter which amount you pay and if I had a problem to contact buyagift direct. I did so and emailed back and forth for 8 weeks without an answer to my query, being fobbed off constantly. Would I use buyagift again? Definitely not. Would I use the Hilton Hotel again? Most definitely!!

Useless company
Took nearly 13 months to arrange a break having been told numerous versions of what could be done and what not! Promised money back at one stage during several communications!! Finally gave up and booked 2 nights in York which cost me nearly £100 more than the rate the hotel were charging! Told it was £24.50 per day to park my car. Actual rate was £25
