Returned for a second year
Ripley is so handy for London Parks races etc and the Talbot Inn is really quite nice
Pay a little more to upgrade your room if you can

The Talbot is in a lovely village in Surrey. Nice, spacious room with views over green. Restaurant very nice if a little expensive, quaint bars. Would stay again p

Great two night escape in a very convenient location for visiting Wisley Gardens. Good breakfast, lots of choices. The Talbot is a fascinating old property with many original features. An excellent blend of old and new. Fabulous new outside space plus wonderful and comfortable old courtyard with lots of outdoor furniture and lighting. Good free parking. A relaxing break in a lovely little town.

Only negative, two weddings were on and our room was right by the main entrance so the door was banging lots and people were very vocal.

The Talbot Inn has a lovely traditional atmosphere. The staff are friendly and efficient, and our room was clean and comfortable. In addition, the meals were most enjoyable. We had a great time staying there.

Room ok but no room service because of covid no cooked breakfast although advertised. Excellent location and interesting building.

Such a pretty location, great to explore nearby Wisley Gardens. Lovely, friendly hotel. Really decent breakfast and accommodating staff. Nice room and decent facilities, including on site parking.
