Lovely stay

Had a lovely stay. The reviews on Trip Advisor were not good but we found nothing to complain about. Room was clean & staff were friendly & helpful, food as part of the package was excellent

The room was comfortable and a good full English breakfast. We enjoyed our stay discovering all the local cycle routes. The downside is the constant traffic noise from the M1 otherwise a lovely setting.

Perfect location for St Albans and surrounding area. All the hotel staff were so helpful and pleasant, nice room and breakfast. Felt safe with all the precautions they had in place.

Hotel was good, yes a bit dated but comfortable bed, clean sheets, fluffy white towels and a good breakfast.
We stayed here to visit Harry Potter tour but also enjoyed a mornings shopping in St Albans which was lovely.
Don't expect luxury but the hotel was good and really nice and helpful staff and if you need anything just ask.

Booked to stay near relatives at Christmas.Location of hotel very convenient near M1. Room clean and comfortable, breakfast buffet service - no frills but nice. No hot water or heating one morning, this sadly marred the experience, especially as reception was not empathetic to this.

This is the 2nd time we h@ve stayed here. Upgraded this time to executive room, good and bad room. Great as weather nice and we had French doors to the gardens, draw back is everyone uses this as a short cut. So curtains had to be shut lots of the time. Apart from this hotel is great, 2 local pubs doing excellent food if you want to eat out minutes away. Breakfast was plentiful, staff friendly.
