We had a fantastic day at Shawsgate Vineyard. The tour was extremely informative and the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The lunch consisted of cheese, ham, salad and bread with a delicious cheesecake for dessert. There was no choice, but the food was good. The wine tasting involved quite a lot of wine, and we were able to choose a glass of our favourite for lunch - something to consider if you are driving! I would highly recommend this!

Amazing
My 13-year-old and I had an amazing time on the meerkat experience. We went into three different enclosures where the meerkats climbed on us, sat on us and we got to feed them. We were really lucky as in the last enclosure there were three babies (6 wks) who also climbed on us and wanted lots of snuggles. Our guide was Charlotte who was fab and very knowledgeable. The actual zoo is great too with lots of different animals to see and some to handfeed as well. Definitely recommend this experience gift, and Hoo Zoo

Had a lovely afternoon tea. Food excelent and the staff very friendly and attentive. The venue is also beautiful with lovely gardens surrounding the building. A hidden gem . Will definately be returning

Brilliant day out!
We went as a family of 5, A 5 year old, 4 year old and 3 week old. We had a great time and it was perfect for our 5 and 4 year old to do activities independently and as a family

Veeno is a lovely rustic restaurant. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Made to feel very welcome. Had the afternoon tea which was delicious. Highly recommend.

Lovely day out
The owner gave us a wonderfully informative and interesting talk about his winemaking journey, followed by a wine tasting with nibbles and then we went for a beautifully fresh and indulgent afternoon tea. I would definitely do this again and it makes a wonderful present for someone
