Things to do in Rye

Excellent afternoon experience, very well looked after by the young lad that attended to us. Couldn’t fault the afternoon tea. Walk around the house as much as we could which was very interesting. All in all a very pleasant afternoon out.

Had a lovely tea yesterday in such a beautiful setting. We decided to order one savoury (for which there was a very small additional supplement) and one traditional afternoon tea as we couldn't decide which to have! We really enjoyed both and shared them. The staff were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Make sure you allow time to walk round the lovely grounds before or afterwards as parking is £4 for 8 hours so you may as well make a day of it!

I can’t thank the staff at Rudding Park enough. From pulling in to the carpark on arrival to leaving and everyone in between. We had a lovely relaxed champagne afternoon tea and our waitress was very attentive and she explained the lovely food to us especially as I have allergies. We will certainly be returning and recommending Rudding Park Harrogate

My 13-year-old and I had an amazing time on the meerkat experience. We went into three different enclosures where the meerkats climbed on us, sat on us and we got to feed them. We were really lucky as in the last enclosure there were three babies (6 wks) who also climbed on us and wanted lots of snuggles. Our guide was Charlotte who was fab and very knowledgeable. The actual zoo is great too with lots of different animals to see and some to handfeed as well. Definitely recommend this experience gift, and Hoo Zoo
