Excellent choice of haven
We were delighted with our choice of hotel - whitewater at Newby Bridge. Large room with four poster and lounge seating. Food and wine were good. All the staff were friendly, supportive and approachable. Plenty of parking. Lots of interesting places to see. We will stay again!

Had a lovely afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt relaxed and welcoming. The selection was great too! a nice mix of sweet and savoury treats and everything tasted fresh. Really enjoyed it! Lovely gift

Fantastic!!
We booked this as a Christmas present for our 15 year old son. In all honesty we thought it would be a gimmicky ‘experience’ that would involve a bit of time in the car, but it was a full 60 minute proper driving lesson! Something which will definitely benefit him when he turns 17 and starts taking lessons. We’ll be booking more of these over the next couple of years as it will save £££’s in weekly lessons and our son absolutely loved the chance to get behind the wheel 2 years early!! Highly recommend!
