Overview
When Sir Christopher Cockrill invented the hovercraft did he ever envisage that it would be so much fun to drive one? The transport that can go over both land and sea, the hovercraft is a machine of wonder. You are sitting on a cushion of air, so the ride is wonderful, it's like being on a flying carpet. Do you fly it, or drive it? Are you the captain or the pilot? Either way, you are going to have a whale of a time on this remarkable vehicle. You'll be given an introduction and full safety briefing before moving onto a familiarisation session where you'll learn how to control your hovercraft. Once you've mastered the art of propelling it in the directions that you want, you will have a full hovercraft experience. This will involve going over both land and water. Once you've had plenty of practice, you will undertake a competitive timed lap of the course. What a wonderful and unusual day out - it'll be something you'll never forget.

A brilliant experience

This was so much fun. Greg was a fab teacher on all aspects be it skill, time trials etc. Very friendly and informative welcome. Would definitely do this again.

Wow what an experience never tried it before the staff were excellent very polite great safety briefing thoroughly enjoyed the experience will definitely go again lovely and clean campsite about 5 mins walk away so made a weekend of it 5 * thank you guys for making it fun Tracey & Dean

The staff were very friendly and explained things well. The group took turns driving the hovercraft, each time the tutor stretched you further making the experience more challenging. It ended with a time trial where we had two goes to try and improve on the first time.
The whole thing was great fun and I felt safe the whole time. I would definitely recommend this and I am already contemplating booking again.

Amazing Hovercraft experience

Good instruction from Marc and team on how to fly the Hovercraft. 4 of us in a group taking turns. Started with easy course the got more and more complex, including water. Time trial at end to decide winner. Really enjoyed the experience and made us all laugh when things didn’t go as we expected. Highly recommend giving this a go!

Well organised and fun with difficulty of handling the craft increasing as the time went on. Used the toilet - would not recommend, very unclean!

A really great couple of hours! Weather wasn't good (very rainy) but that didn't dampen the experience - just had wet knees at the end! The location was good and easy to find, and the staff were great - friendly and helpful, with a great instructor to help you along the way. This was a top class experience - really good fun and something a little different from the norm.
