Get hands-on with clay together at this Private Ceramics Workshop for Two with award-winning degree qualified ceramicist Katherine Fortnum. With over a decade of experience an impressive list of accolades, Katherine is a ceramic maestro ready to impart her knowledge to eager enthusiasts. Choose what you'd like to create from a selection of unique items, and you'll be able to get in touch with Katherine to discuss your aims beforehand. During the bespoke session, you'll be guided through the skills you need, before exploring a variety of building and decorating techniques that will immerse you in your ceramics experience. Throughout the session, Katherine will provide you with personalised one-to-one tuition as you make your own ceramic creating from scratch, designed and decorated by you to produce a finished peace. You'll leave your unique creations at the studio to be carefully dried out, and then your pieces undergo a 72-hour bisque firing at 1000 degrees. They'll be ready to take pride of place in your home approximately 8 weeks later. You can collect them from the studio or opt for postage at an additional fee.

• Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• This experience is not wheelchair accessible, there are four small steps into the studio
• This workshop is suitable for all abilities
• Due to high demand, it is advised that you book this experience 6 months in advance
• Please arrive 10 minutes before your arranged booking time
• Once it's ready, you can collect your creation from the studio or arrange postage for an additional fee
