Afternoon Tea in Hertfordshire

This was first class from welcome to finish. The food was excellent the staff were lovely and nothing too much trouble. One of the best afternoon teas we’ve had. And we have had quite a few.

Afternoon tea with champagne for two at this wonderful venue was a delight. The staff were friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The savoury sandwiches and cakes were delicious and the choice of tea was extensive. The decor was tropical and the bone china matched the wallpaper! We will both be celebrating here in the future!

Our son and daughter in law gave us an afternoon tea with Prosecco as a gift and it was very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and the food was all very tasty. The scones were still warm when they were brought to us. Lovely surroundings too! Would definitely recommend.

The afternoon tea itself was very enjoyable, the staff looked after us and could not have been more helpful. The food was very nice, we had made a request prior to our visit as one of us is a vegetarian and the other can not each cheese. The veggie sandwiches were produced on a separate plate which was very thoughtful. The presentation was excellent and the scones were freshly baked. and warm. Highly recommend this venue. We had the tea in a glass side room overlooking the lovely gardens. Overall A very enjoyable experience. Booking the event was however overly complicated and i would think twice about using this method again.

We went to the slug and lettuce, hanover street - the food was very good and the service was excellent. The afternoon tea was much better than expected instead of just plain bread for the sandwiches it was focaccia and brioche and the dessert was very good quality. Surroundings were clean and beautifully presented. Very instagrammable and modern designs

Booked this for my sister in law’s 60th birthday , she loved it! Really lovely sandwiches, scones and sweet treats with Prosecco. Would definitely book again

This was a really good place for afternoon tea. The selection was different from the usual fair, and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend going here.
