Perfect location for a scrumptious Afternoon Tea
Lastingham Grange is the most perfect place to book for an afternoon tea being situated in a prime position in the pretty Yorkshire village of Lastingham. Booking was straightforward and on the day staff were very helpful and courteous while the food and drinks were first class. We were shown into a lovely lounge with comfortable couches and/or chairs and our food was brought to us. There were another 3 groups but the room was big enough so there was plenty of space between tables that conversations could be carried on without causing distraction to other diners. I would certainly recommend this experience.

We used our voucher from buy a gift for a 2 course meal for two, we enjoyed the experience, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff and lovely food, can’t remember when I had a 2 beef burger looking and tasting as good as that,

What a lovely afternoon we had with pleasant and very helpful staff. Food freshly prepared and explained nicely when it arrived at the table what was included on the tea stand. Because it was my birthday I also had an additional tray of 2 cakes decorated. It was an afternoon to remember.

Afternoon birthday tea in the sun
Afternoon tea at a beautiful hotel in the summer sun. Arrived at 2.
30pm and left at 8.30pm! Very relaxed and no feeling to hurry. Sandwiches were absolutely delicious. 2 warm scones with plenty of jam and cream per person and five delicious cakes and desserts each. Refills of tea and coffee too. Sitting in beautiful gardens in the sunshine with friends ... what a fab way to celebrate. Gorgeous grey cat who kept us company all afternoon as well. Would definitely recommend.
