Afternoon Tea in Surrey

My boyfriend and I were given this voucher for Christmas and decided to use it in Bath on Good Friday. It felt like a real treat! In the S&L, the staff were attentive, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We also had two soft or hot drinks included. Highly recommended!

Slug & Lettuce Durham . Booking the table with the voucher QR code was straight forward and without any issues. Booked table for 5:00pm and on arrival we were shown to the table . Staff were good and the young lady explained the menu we were using and the choices relating to our voucher. The menu was not big on choice but we did have a choice of starters and main courses as well as dessert. Having a 2 course dining experience we chose a starter and a main . The starter was very nice and the main course was also very nice . Overall the meal was well presented, hot and tasty. Well worth the voucher cost . Would definitely consider another meal here using the buyagift voucher option.

Tasty sandwiches and scones. Plenty of jam and cream followed by a selection of cakes Very friendly service.

This was a birthday treat for my husband, we both enjoyed it very much. We parked just outside and paid in the machine, when we went in the lady said she would give us drinks up to the value of it, so we both had a Prosecco. The items were all very good, we were offered more sandwiches but it was plenty for us.

Really enjoyed our cream tea at Reigate Manor, The sandwiches were lovely and a good choice of fillings. We had Salmon, Corination chicken, Avacado with another filling and a type of beef sandwhich. It was one of the most enjoyable selection of sandwiches and cakes we had, had at a cream tea. However we were a bit confused at how they served the Tea. we had a teapot of hot water and one tea bag each. We had to keep asking for another tea bag and more water. The last waiter knew how to make tea and brought us a pot of tea with tea bags in it. I suggest if you have different tea's, that they bring you both a pot of tea each with the tea bags in it to brew correctly. I would ask for this next time, (which we have had at all our previously cream tea's) Definitely recommend Reigate Manor for a cream tea, Easy to book and enjoyed the prosecco which was included in the gift.

We arrived early for our afternoon tea but were told that we could be seated and were served promptly. Staff were friendly and efficient and the selection of sandwiches and sweet treats were amazing, with types a little bit different to the usual afternoon teas we have had previously.The cocktails were delicious too. Well done to the Slug and Lettuce.
