Afternoon Tea in Surrey

Got as a birthday gift... went to our local patisserie and didn't need to book it online , the food was absolutely delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful, definitely recommend ??

Our afternoon tea was lovely. After a problem with our venue we were transferred to another one. Didn't quite know where we were going but we found it. The staff couldn't do enough for us. They were very polite.

Lastingham Grange is the most perfect place to book for an afternoon tea being situated in a prime position in the pretty Yorkshire village of Lastingham. Booking was straightforward and on the day staff were very helpful and courteous while the food and drinks were first class. We were shown into a lovely lounge with comfortable couches and/or chairs and our food was brought to us. There were another 3 groups but the room was big enough so there was plenty of space between tables that conversations could be carried on without causing distraction to other diners. I would certainly recommend this experience.

We used our voucher from buy a gift for a 2 course meal for two, we enjoyed the experience, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff and lovely food, can’t remember when I had a 2 beef burger looking and tasting as good as that,

We had our afternoon tea at the Metropolitan in West Didsbury. Lovely pub/restaurant. The sandwiches were really nice, on varying breads. The sweets were good especially the mini rhubarb and custard. We had to take our scone home as we were full. My friend enjoyed her passion fruit martini and I had generous quantities of earl grey tea. A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon!

What a lovely afternoon we had with pleasant and very helpful staff. Food freshly prepared and explained nicely when it arrived at the table what was included on the tea stand. Because it was my birthday I also had an additional tray of 2 cakes decorated. It was an afternoon to remember.

Afternoon tea at a beautiful hotel in the summer sun. Arrived at 2. 30pm and left at 8.30pm! Very relaxed and no feeling to hurry. Sandwiches were absolutely delicious. 2 warm scones with plenty of jam and cream per person and five delicious cakes and desserts each. Refills of tea and coffee too. Sitting in beautiful gardens in the sunshine with friends ... what a fab way to celebrate. Gorgeous grey cat who kept us company all afternoon as well. Would definitely recommend.

Easy location to find, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was something else

On arrival we were shown to a beautiful decorated table, as we sat down we were given a glass of ice cold water which was very welcome as it was such a hot day. When the sandwiches and cakes arrived it was very well presented and the waiter explained what everything was. The Tea was lovely and hot and the Prosecco was lovely and cold . The staff were extremely helpful and we would highly recommend and will be back soon .
