The gentleman that walked us down to the afternoon tea entrance was very friendly and informative, then the Afternoon tea itself was detailed and very delicious and we were even given more of our favourite and we get to take the rest home, the service was excellent

What a wonderful restaurant. We were shown to our table by the very nice staff and offered a drink or an alternative if wanted. There was plenty of choice on the menu and every bit of the 3 courses was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and you are not on top of each other so plenty of space. All the staff were so friendly and we would not hesitate to return

This is our second visit using the afternoon tea voucher meal. The food was as outstanding as we remembered it but the staff overall were less attentive. It felt a bit more superficial. The right noises were made but had to ask a number of times for the tea pots and the water bottle to be refilled. Last time it felt more as a ceremony where there was a trolley with the different toes of tea on offer and we were offered matcha tea made for us at the end. This time the service felt more conveyor belt and when I had asked for the bill I also asked whether there was any matcha tea and we were told that she thought we were in a rush. We were not offered it pro actively and as we were at that stage ready to go we declined. I wonder how many were offered the matcha after us. The afternoon tea is very popular and still worth it just wish the staff would just pause a little bit.

Food was absolutely delicious, fresh, tasty and really enjoyable. The staff were welcoming, attentive but not intrusive. Loved receiving this gift, and would throughly recommend.

My friend and I visited for a 7 course taster lunch menu and we were delighted. Being a hot day we were offered a table in their outside courtyard which is very pleasant. The dishes came out with perfect timing so we had a short break between each, and all were delicious - tasty, with good combinations of spices for the meat, fish or vegetables in the dish. Service was efficient and friendly, and there was a good selection of cocktails, beers, wines and non alcoholic drinks. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch, well worth the hour drive for us to get there, and somewhere I will be glad to return to one day.
