About the experience
Fire up the forge for a full day of blacksmithing, with all the safety gear you need, while tea and coffee keep you going. Your day in Carmarthen, Wales splits into three parts: hammering out the shape of your piece, heat treating the metal, then finishing and handling it properly. You'll work hot steel alongside others in your group, choosing from options such as a fire poker, hooks or skewers, and you'll head home with the satisfying weight of your own handiwork.
