Diving with Sharks Experience for Two at Skegness Aquarium

Be introduced to the creatures of the deep blue at Skegness Aquarium and come face-to-face with beautiful sharks. After a safety briefing and chance to get used to the state-of-the-art equipment, including a full face mask designed to help you breathe naturally, an expert instructor will be on hand via the diver communication device at all times while you enjoy this exhilarating shark dive with a friend. Glide past the Treasure Island Wreck of Hispaniola. Encounter graceful bat rays and the dazzling colours of tropical fish, as your curious shark friends swim all around you. What's included?

• Exhilarating shark diving experience for two in the Coral Ocean display – home to sharks, rays and tropical fish
• Begin with a safety briefing before donning swimwear, a wetsuit and boots in the changing rooms
• Learn the basics of breathing and equipment used whilst diving with a certified diving instructor
• Close-up animal encounter under the watchful eye of expert instructors
• Explore the wonders of the aquarium for the rest of the day

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• Your voucher is valid for two people
• Walk-ups are not accepted – you must book this experience in advance, customers must book each participant separately
• Lead times can vary based on peak times of the year, so please book early to avoid disappointment
• Available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, year round
• The dives take place at 9am and 3pm but guests have access to the aquarium all day
• At the discretion of the Dive Team, more spaces may be made available to meet demand
• Your voucher includes entry for the participants and one non-participating spectator – those under 16 must be accompanied by a legal parent/guardian. There is a cost of £9 per spectator for any additional spectators
• Minimum age: 10 years
• Maximum weight: 18st 10lbs
• Your experience lasts approximately two hours, with 40 minutes spent inside the Coral Ocean display
• There is a digital lesson which will be carried out via an online e-learning link and needs to be completed prior to arrival – details for this and other elements of the experience will be included in the confirmation e-mail
• Dive equipment and diving training is included. No previous diving experience is required, but confidence in water is essential
• Please bring your own swimwear, towel and shower products
• Please note, you are required to fill out a medical declaration to confirm your fitness for the experience and sign a digital registration form
• All participants will be videoed during the experience and will have the option to purchase a video link of the experience
