About the experience
Take a well deserved respite at the magnificent Greenwoods Hotel and Spa, located in a stunning 17th century manor house. The peaceful manor is set in beautifully landscaped gardens in the charming Essex village of Stock – yet can be reached in just 40 minutes from London’s Liverpool Street Station. You’ll have use of the spa facilities from 5pm until 10pm – allowing plenty of time to go for a swim in the 20 metre lap pool or simply relax in the sauna, Jacuzzi, steam rooms and monsoon shower. A revitalising mini retreat in easy reach of the Capital.

Best girls trip
We had booked a couple of months in advance but from the minute we arrived we knew it was going to be a fantastic day! We used the relaxation rooms (divine!), the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. All were spotless and clean. The staff were friendly yet professional and the dressing gown super fluffy.
The highlights were the facial which was just the most relaxing one I have ever had and the dinner. Dinner itself was so yummy. No small portions here, we left feeling full and content. I had the chicken and caramel apple slice - both highly recommended.
A great spa day overall!!

The afternoon tea at Greenwood’s, was excellent, the staff were very friendly and professional and we were served very quickly. The food was delicious and plenty of it, we had to take some home with us.

Thoroughly enjoyed this spa break. The hotel was beautiful and our room was spacious. Had the facial which was great and really loved the relaxation room. The staff were friendly and helpful and the three course dinner that was included had lots of delicious options. Will definitely be booking again.
