Afternoon Tea for Two
We had a lovely afternoon tea at the Grand Hotel Eastbourne. The staff who served us were very attentive and helpful. There was a nice selection of teas. It was nice that they had both a savoury afternoon tea or the sweeter Grand afternoon tea. There is even a junior afternoon tea option for children. We were even given extra chocolate brownies as it was our wedding anniversary. A special afternoon in a truly ‘grand’ setting.

Buyagift are shocking
Buyagift are a dreadful company to deal with! Offering experiences that are not available when you go to book! Awkward to get help from, Buyagift tries to avoid responsibility! Then they try and run the clock down to keep your money! Better to give people cash and they can actually buy what they want when they want! The Greenway were amazing of course

Beautiful Castle
Driving up to the Castle is stunning a sight to behold when you get there. As you go in to Reception it's beautiful, then you go in to the Brasserie and it's a tad dissapointing modern furniture, looks like a cafe, no tablecloths, paper napkins.
The staff are nice and very helpful I am Coeliac and they understood my needs. The food is very good.
Shame about the detail.

Seating
On arrival we shown to our table which was large travel trunk with sofas either side which we found not comfortable while eating and being so low, more so for my wife who is waiting for a hip operation. The food was nice and service was good. Augill Castle and grounds are lovely along with the history. If we have afternoon tea again I will ask what are the seating arrangements.
