Disappointing
Was bought this as a gift , very disappointing, was expecting a more ‘country hotel ‘ feel but we were sat in a bar area with no atmosphere , the food was ok until we found a hair in one of the cakes. We won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend buying this as a gift

Zero Customer Service. Avoid
This place does a "Sparkling Welsh Afternoon Tea for Two" via (BuyaGift.co.uk)
My wife's 70th birthday present was ruined today.
I followed the correct procedure to ring with the booking reference to arrange the cream tea.
On arrival we were seated and given the teapot.
As we were drinking our tea we were summoned to the reception who could not find our booking.
What followed was both embarrassing and humiliating as the three front of house staff behind reception grilled us for five minutes about the booking, which they couldn't find.
I pointed out that it was the venue that had made the mistake not us, but they persisted in trying to make us look like the ones at fault.
The customer service skills on display were less than zero.
My wife was so upset on what should have been a happy 70th birthday, that she couldn't eat the food, so we took it away in a bag.
The staff including the manger at no point took responsibility nor made any apologies.
Horrendous.
