About the experience
Step into the world of falconry at Hatton Country World and discover what makes birds of prey such remarkable hunters. An expert-led workshop introduces different species, their habits, habitats and conservation work, alongside the history of falconry, the equipment fitted to captive birds and safe handling. Meet hawks, falcons and owls, then head to the flying arena to fly the birds freely as they sweep through the Warwickshire scenery.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available week round, year round, excluding Christmas
- Minimum age: 13 years; under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
- Please call the venue for a weather check before setting out
- If the experience is cancelled because of bad weather it will be re-booked for an alternative date
- Please arrive at 10.15am for a prompt start at 10.30am
- Please allow approximately three hours at the venue; feel free to spend the remainder of the day exploring Hatton Country World
- A maximum of two spectators per participant are welcome for the price of the Hatton Country World entrance fee, payable direct on the day
- Dress for the outdoors and wear wellies or walking boots, bringing a change of clothes if the weather is bad
- Don't forget your camera and/or a pair of binoculars if you have them
- Although the site is wheelchair-friendly with hard paths, some aspects take place on uneven ground
- All dates are subject to availability
