Average at best
Pool was very overcrowded, all loungers were taken, myself and wife had same spa treatment but received different experiences, food was good but the staff were very rude

It was an average experience over all.
Spa was nice and clean, relaxation room was cosy. The pool area is not really a leisure pool, but just a swimming pool, more suited for the gym customers, not relaxing spa-goers. No jaccusi or water to relax in, plus 45 minutes was taken over by water aerobics, which we'd been notifed about prior but on the day, we forgot, so didn't actually get a chance to get in the pool as our treatments were booked. A few loungers and chairs but not enough to go round really. Treatments were OK, but I lost a bit of time due to a therapist "not being available" so 30 minutes was short enough, and less treatment time was nowhere near long enough. Best part was the lunch included, which was tasty. Probably would not do it again. On the whole it cost us much more going via Buyagift, as we'd exchanged our voucher from a previuos experience at another hotel, which we backed-out of due to really bad reviews. The swap alternative meant we paid well over the basic price and had to pay extra onto the already paid £149ish. Finding that Buyagift is not as good value as it used to be.
