Lee Valley Caravan Park in Dobbs Weir is just under 50 minutes away from London by train and is surrounded by the picturesque countryside of Hertfordshire and Essex. Fabulous relaxing break
The wee brave wigwam was awesome! Comfortable but still basic enough to still be camping!

Fantastic break and lovely little pod
We went to the Dobbs weir site on the Friday afternoon and was greeted by a wonderful receptionist who booked us in swiftly.
We had ordered a fire pit and was told that the site team would deliver it promptly which they did.
The pod had a microwave fridge washing up bowl kettle and 2 cups.
The bed once made is the size of 2 double beds so take 2 bottom sheets and 2 sleeping bags or blankets. Also pillows.
Lovely little decking and a bench table.
We took deck chairs as well.
The fish and eels pub was an across the main road with a wonderful path around to it. Food and staff were great. (Probably better to book as very busy)
We had a good night’s sleep and Saturday had booked our family in as day visitors as had a celebration so the fire pit turned into a bbq and was great.
The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do more to help.
Toilets clean and plenty of showers.
The weather helped as had brilliant sunshine ?? all weekend.
Suggest you take a water container and cutlery.
All in all was brilliant and will definitely book again.

Enjoy the nights. Clean and well furnished. Outside was very spacious and privacy with plenty of car parking space. Jenny is a friendly owner.
