About the experience
Swap the daily rush for five slow nights in the Lake District, with a hotel of your choosing and a stay for two to fill however you like. Wake to that unmistakable lakeland air, spend your days wandering between fells, villages and waterside paths, then head back somewhere comfortable for a proper sit-down. That's long enough to stop counting the days, so you'll settle into the pace of the place rather than racing through a checklist. Choose the spot that suits you both and let the rest unfold.

Amazing Trip
We stayed at the Wilson’s in Torver. Amazing place to set up base. 5 minute drive to Coniston and close to local attractions. Great views as well from the glamping pod.

Gift to the Lake District
Very lovely place to visit this time of year. The accommodation was great as well.

shambolic
Positive: staff are friendly and rooms are of good size
Negative: the building itself is in poor condition. It really needs a good refurbishment project.

disappointing
We had a £500 voucher for a 5 night stay in the Lake District. The options available without paying anything extra are very very limited. We are restricted to school holiday dates, which naturally enough means we had to pay a surcharge wherever we wanted to stay. We decided to pay the extra and stay at The Rickerby Grange, we paid £220.00 alledgedly for breakfast and so was rather disappointed to find that the breakfast was rather ordinary and that the promised fabulous views consisted of the car park. Whilst it was a nice bed and breakfast it was not worth the amount spent for it. I feel that if you are offering vouchers then the cost of the accomodation including breakfast should be covered by the voucher, so many things we looked at, required us to pay an additional amount. The only places that were covered by the voucher without extras were actually outside the national park.
