Spa Day with Afternoon Tea and 50 Minute Treatment for Two at Shrewsbury Albrighton Hotel

We had an incredible day. Started with an hour spent in the pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and ice room. Then onto our treatment. We chose the facial which was amazing. I spent 45 mins in the relaxation room whilst my mum had her facial and she was able to sit in the coffee area whilst I had mine. Then we sat for our afternoon tea which was lovely. Unlimited refill of the tea. We were then able to go back into the pool after but had to pick kids up from school. Definitely recommend this package

Had a lovely relaxing day using the spa facilities with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and ice room with a lovely relaxing scalp, neck and shoulder massage. There was also an amazing afternoon tea where there was so much to eat that we had to take some home.

Lovely location, fantastic afternoon tea and spa treatment

Albrighton hall, is a lovely venue. However, it has a few small things to address that would make a huge difference. We had a lovely day, but it’s a leisure club not a spa. Both steam rooms were out of order, no signs on the doors and no prior notice. Workmen came to fix the one steam room,(it went off again not long afterwards) walking through the clearly sign posted thermal suite with work boots on (signs saying no outdoor footwear). They walked outside and back in several times, leaving the door open. The steam room smelt awful everytime the door opened for yet another person to see it was out of use. Lunch is served in the restaurant in a separate building, which means you have to get back into your normal clothing to eat lunch (not an option to stay in your robe). Swimming lessons were taking place from 2:30 until we left at 6:30. Lots of small children, rightfully having fun. But we went further a child free day! Again no prior warning. We couldn’t use the hot tub as there were small children and parents using it. As far as im away children under 16 shouldn’t use them. There was a child around 10/11 years old using the sauna, with an adult but sure if there had been any staff around they would allow it. The snail shower was freezing cold even when selecting hot water. We had afternoon tea, it was lovely but no explanation as to what we had been given. It was a case of try it and see! Out treatment was amazing, the beauty area was lovely albeit a little cold when we arrived. Disappointing place, just needs some finer touches and attention to detail
