Superb afternoon tea at Rudding Park, Harrogate
This was a special treat for my mum’s 90th birthday. It was a brilliant afternoon, delicious sandwiches (extras offered), delicious scones, jam &cream and a delightful number of cakes including a Neapolitan macaron, strawberry cheesecake, mousse cake & sponge cake. We had 2 glasses of champagne & two pots of tea. Staff are charming and welcoming. A brilliant afternoon,

A Pleasant Experience
It was easy to book this experience through the hotel event staff.
Pleasant surroundings and atmosphere. The standard of service from bar and restaurant staff was excellent, as was the standard of the meal although bar prices are the highest I have experienced anywhere.
The cinema is quite intimate as you would expect, with comfortable well spaced seats and the sound level not deafening as it is in main cinemas nowadays.
It is a good evening out although the hotel stages the event only once per month and so you are reliant on finding a film that appeals on an evening that suits during the period of validity of the voucher.

This was not boring nor overly seroius. A really interesting and enjoyable tour of the garden hosted by Emma who made the tour enducational and facinating. She explaned hoe the garden has to meet the demand of the chefs for specialist herbs and vegetable but at the same time the garden introduces new products that in turn challenge the chefs.
The hotel lunch afterwards was excellent, with super service and value for money .
