The set menu runs through British classics, from succulent steaks to plant-based plates and tempting desserts, using produce from suppliers that serve the Royal households. Two AA Rosettes back up the cooking, and the refined dining room takes care of the rest.

Would never go back.
We were frankly appalled. The starter was OK but the supplement was £10 each and we didn't think it was worth much more. For the main course my husband paid an extra £20 for a piece of Rib eye steak which was fatty and sinewy. The chips were a supplement of £8 each and were very dry and uneatable and to my disgust, I had a long black hair attached in with my chips so when I popped a chip into my mouth I had to literally pull the hair out of my mouth making me feel quite sick. Having showed the waiter their was really no expression or understanding as to you how disgusting it was! ! I had to actually ask them to replace my meal and at the end of the meal their was no offer of anything being taken off the bill, until I asked. Whereby they took the supplement for the bowl of chips off. For such a prestigious hotel I couldn't believe the service. This was a gift bought for our Golden Wedding Anniversary and we also linked it to a belated celebration of my husband's 80th. He has been in and out of hospital and made a massive effort to finally attempt to enjoy this gift. But really wish we hadn't. I will also be writing to the Chief executor of the Ruben's hotel.
Our buy a gift was worth £150 but I would not recommend going to this particular hotel through buy a gift. It's the hotel I am complaining about NOT Buy a Gift. You have been good extending it for us due to my husband's illness it's such a shame we didn't choose somewhere else.

Exceptional Service
Lovely restaurant, staff were all very friendly and polite. Food was really nice and plentiful. Definitely would recommend.
