Excellent in every aspect.

The whole experience was a delight from arriving to departure. All the staff were welcoming, pleasant but not overbearing. The lounge was clean and a relaxing atmosphere. All the food was delicious and well presented.

The best afternoon tea I've had in a very long time.

The food during the afternoon tea was different. No boring sandwiches here. The savouries were amazing, all with so many fancy elements, and the cakes were beautiful. I really thought I was on Masterchef the Professionals - except these were better. Shout out to the chefs, and also to Yara our very friendly and attentive waitress. A really lovely experience all round and we will be back.

The River Restaurant is a lovely venue. All elements of the afternoon tea were excellent. We couldn't quite finish everything! The service was friendly and efficient. A lovely present via buyagift.
