Not a spa experience. Very disappointing
We were very disappointed in our visit. The berystede hotel itself is lovely. But the spa is not up to standard. The hydrotherapy pool and the relaxation room was closed, the ice room had no ice. The furniture was dirty and disorganised. There was discarded rubbish and we even saw a rat. The pool that was open was busy and noisy. Im sure these facilities would be appreciated as part of a gym membership but this shouldn't be sold as a spa experience.

The sunbeds looked grubby.
We saw a rat in the grounds.
The best bit was the glass of prosecco.
