Fantastic little get away
Arrived late Friday evening and received the warmest of welcomes. There was no request too big or too small. The room had everything that you could possibly need. The attention to detail was top class. The breakfast was sourced from local butchers and the gin was great too.

Just perfect!
Booked this for travel distance, didn't want to go too far. The pic on the website of the galleried room sold it. On arrival we were upgraded to this room as it was midweek and quiet. What a brilliant room it is. We'll designed and thought out, it was a real pleasure to spend a couple of days chilling out here. Service from owner and team was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was a tasty full English.

Excellent short break in a beautiful hotel
We were looking for a buyagift venue in the north of England and this property jumped out being close to Pendle Hill, I place I was keen to revisit.
The Lawrence Hotel exceeded our expectations as a comfortable, well appointed hotel. The welcome and attention from Michael was just at the right level helped along by Hettie the Sprocker spaniel.
The food we had in the evening was by far the best meal I have had in a restaurant for a long time. Fantastic mushroom stroganoff. And catered well for gluten free needs. Again the breakfast was outstanding, with a good selection of both light options and full English breakfast.
Although Padiham itself was not a particularly exciting place, the nearby countryside and towns were well worth a visit. Even Pendle Hill in a downpour!! Back to the Lawrence to recover. We would definitely visit again.

Very Nice Surprise
Was bought this gift from my lovely girlfriend & the whole experience didn’t disappoint! Stunning hotel in a very nice location! Couldn’t ask for more from a hotel & especially the owner who was extremely helpful with everything...would definitely consider going again!

Okay
Its was easy to book and had an upgrade but this can cancelled at last minute. The place is clean and okay, not a luxury hotel more like a good B and B. Breakfast was fine, but cost too much for a hot breakfast ,continental was average.
