Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Lacey the Spa therapist was welcoming, professional & skilled. The Spa receptionist was so friendly and welcoming we relaxed as soon as we met her. Lunch was excellent, well coooked, beautifully presented & the restaurant was immaculately presented.

This was a really good buy for an interesting experience. The voucher was nicely presented. The experience was easy to organise and book.

Had this gift bought for me for a present the afternoon tea was fantastic great value for the money plenty of food including hot food and great service

This is a beautiful hotel set in lovely surroundings. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The young man that greeted us on entering the restaurant area gave us a choice of seating and the service was very efficient, nothing was too much trouble catering for all your needs. Dietary requirements were also taken into consideration. We asked for extra tea and coffee which was brought over immediately. We were extremely full when leaving the restaurant. The owner asked if everything was OK with our afternoon tea and thanked us for coming. I would certainly recommend this hotel to people looking for something different.

A great day out in a beautiful setting. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Made to feel safe at all times. Plenty of retail goodies and nick naks. Dog friendly. Spectators welcome. Good food in the restaurant with seating inside and outside. Bar. Ice-cream counter. A good use of the old coal mine with little 'nods' to it's history all around. Would definitely go again.
