The hotel is lovely, clean bright and welcoming. The staff were cheerful and polite and immediately mentioned that they were aware of the emails that I had earlier sent to them, telling them about my allergies. I gave them a paper, taken from Allergy UK, explaining everything about my BOP allergy, and they were not only interested, because no one had heard of it, but asked if they could print a copy off. They said that they would show it to the chef, but also keep it as future reference for any other sufferers. We were then shown to our table, and the chef, and serving staff had gone the extra mile to make sure everything was correct, even placing different items on my server that they knew I was safe to eat. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon tea. It felt so special and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, that we felt like regulars. We will certainly be going back again.

We arrived much earlier than expected but it proved no problem and we enjoyed a very nice afternoon tea.

A lovely experience with the lemurs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A great zoo, seeing different animals. A very good day was had indeed.

Absolutely brilliant! The funniest play I've ever seen. Laughed continuously so well done to all the cast for a really enjoyable experience!

It was a lovely experience on a dismall afternoon in very wet and windy conditions on a Thursday afternoon.

Very friendly staff with actually good singers and dancers. Food was ok. Chicken tenders tasty but waffles too sweet. The staff kept us topped up. I think the cocktails were too sweet .I prefer classic cocktails rather than party house creations. Anyway we had a good time although probably a more fun vibe in evening but even early afternoon it was still fun. Plus they teach you to dance

Peak Distillery Saturday afternoon tour and tasting. Really knowledgable, relaxed and informative. 4 great whisky's in the tasting room to finish. A great gift for my birthday from my son. Easy booking system with loads of availability. I just phoned the distillery to arrange and it was done.

I joined the bird and blend tea workshop with my friend and it was a great experience! The lead had lots of knowledge in the teas we tasted and everyone was lovely. It was a great way to start the day off! I highly recommend:)

The bottomless brunch voucher was brought for me from my work colleagues for a special birthday. We had an amazing afternoon with lots of lovely food and Prosecco and offered a pudding for an extra charge of £2 which was definitely worth it. All the staff were very pleasant and attentive and making the booking was so easy by email. I would recommend the Hilton Metropole for a bottomless brunch.

The table was ready and the staff were attentive from the minute we arrived. The food and drink was lovely. I would definitely recommend.
