I enjoyed going around Kew Gardens. It is very relaxing. Going in is hassle-free with friendly and helpful staff. Buyagift website is easy to navigate.

Lovely country hotel. Best to try and plan for a dry day as you can wander round the gardens.

The Royal Lodge is in a beautiful gorge. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was cooked to order and the dinner menu was very good. We would definitely return

Thornbury castle is delightful, full of history. Mum and I enjoyed our afternoon tea. The waitress was so attentive and nothing was too much bother.

A full day of exercise and relaxing with a lively afternoon tea in the middle

Parking, reception, cafe, staff and especially the tour, were spot on.

Despite the poor weather and a tube strike this was a fantastic day out. It had it all, history, a well explained tour and a splendid afternoon tea with like minded souls. Seeing what's happening to the last gasometer was an eye opener. There was everything for the statistically minded seeing the records going way back and a chance to pick out any Yorkshire stars from now to years gone by. A bonus was seeing into the rooms for televising and particularly the place from which so many well known commentators have kept us riveted with the window open to add to the atmosphere and the roars at fall of a wicket.

We had such a great time - myself and the kids loved it. Definitely recommend.
