The day out was great in all respects. But we had been given a gift and could choose anything up to the gift price. We knew we had to buy the experience before Sunday, but thought, due to all the BuyaGift pages saying, 'valid for a year', that once noted it was valid for a year. No. The experience had to be taken by the expiry date too and that's not made clear enough. Luckily we had decided to do it now so did not lose out. It costs £20 to extend the voucher. So I'd say, don't bother with an open voucher that can be used for anything, get the experience itself. Added to which, I was emailed a load of cheaper offers for the same experience but couldn't use them as I had been given a gift voucher. It was all a bit frustrating, but the day out, seeing the animals and tea were great.

We had such an amazing experience! From start to finish, the service was outstanding. Every member of staff was so helpful and went out of their way to support us. A gentleman called Olwen gave exceptional customer service — he truly stood out. The whole experience was beautiful, and it honestly felt like we were in a different country. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be recommending it to others. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience meeting the meerkats , we got to feed them in their enclosure and learn more about their habit and needs. Great well informed keeper. Ticket included entrance to the rest of Eagle Heights for the day, so we saw all their animals and a bird of prey display with their eagles.

The whole day was an excellent experience that I shard with my daughter. Feeding the big cats was wonderful the animals were stunningly beautiful and outstandingly fierce. It was a pleasure and a honour to get up close to these impressive animals

This experience was delayed by Covid. I changed the nature of the experience twice. Eventually changing from a hot air balloon ride for a Eagle handling experience in Kent at the Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation, so my wife could be included. It was a fantastic day out. The weather was excellent, although a tad hot even for April. The Foundation is located at the top of a hill with great views over the River Darent valley below. Upon arrival we attended the first of two public displays, exhibiting different birds each time. The handlers were excellent and very knowledgeable. After a short lunch we had our own one on one experience with the head handler. We had 3 different birds to handle and experience their flying techniques over roughly 2 hours. You get to experience the awesome power of these birds. My wife is vegetarian, but was able to quell her concerns at what the birds were given as snacks! The handler was very friendly, helpful and attentive. There are other animals to see at Eagle heights including Meerkats, Alpacas and Huskies. We had a leisurely walk round to look at the other animals after a welcome cup of tea and a cake (included in the price), before we attended the second of the public displays. I would thoroughly recommend this experience.
