Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour Tour of Oxford for Two 11859360

Our very knowledgeable guide took us, at a comfortable pace, around many of the locations used on Morse, Lewis and Endeavour. As a couple, we aren't very good tourists so this was a great way to see the more secluded parts of Oxford and the guide was able to link many places, in detail, to the shows. Given the team are so entrenched in Oxford they were even able to get us access to a college during exam time! ?? We would highly recommend.

This was a brilliant tour around Oxford made very special by our guide, Elizabeth, who was very knowledgeable and informative with her interesting anecdotes and stories.

First of all it was raining heavily. but despite this everyone turned up for the tour, and show went on. Heidi Boon Rickard our guide was full of energy and had a real passion for her subject she was so infectious and happy to tell us what she knew. As the tour started it became obvious that we were in for a real treat and we were really impressed by her knowledge of all three programmes and that she was able to show us why Oxford was so special and right for these episodes. She was able to show us how more modern additions were covered and the as for the phone boxes they were brilliant, you'll have to do the tour to find out! Heidi also threw in other information about CS Lewis and Narnia and Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings and a lot of general history of Oxford and its many colleges. She knows a lot of people around Oxford and we even got into a recital briefly being performed at one of the churches. Heidi is obviously very respected. Our tour lasted nearly 2 hours and she was very open to questions. We did dive for cover on a couple occasions which was welcome. Many thanks for a brilliant afternoon. Also the voucher extension process was so easy and welcome especially as the Pandemic made it impossible to use the voucher within its initial expiration period. Many thanks to Buyagift for making this painless.

The location on Google map sent us to the wrong address but we got there eventually. The ladt was nice and knew her stuff but she did talk alot about herself and how she has met the crew and was happy to show photos of this as proof wasn't really bothered about seeing them. That's all I can say about it.

This was part of a fun weekend to Oxford and we had a great guide who was really knowledgeable about the city as well as all the Morse and related series'.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the Morse, Lewis & Endeavour tour of Oxford. Our guide, Heidi, had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the programmes & as well as showing us where many of the most memorable scenes were filmed told us lots of snippets of info about the writing of the programmes and links between them. Despite it being a very wet day she kept our spirits up & kept us sheltered wherever possible. We would definitely recommend this tour and if your very lucky you’ll get Heidi as your guide.

This tour was amazing from start to finish ! If you are a Morse Lewis or Endevour fan or like my husband 'all of the above ' you will love the experience! Our guide was Heidi she was fantastic funny entertaining and knowledgeable this was 2 hours well spent!
