Situated in Nun Monkton, an idyllic village nestled between Harrogate and York, you and your loved one will start your visit by tasting the venue’s award winning sparkling wine. As you sip your fizz, owners Chris and Gillian will tell you the story of how Yorkshire Heart became the highly-regarded business it is today, and about the intricate process by which wine is made. We were not sure what to expect but really enjoyed our afternoon at Yorkshire Heart Vineyard, learning about the production of wine and afterwards eating our excellent Afternoon Tea.

This offer included a really interesting talk about wine making, a look at the vineyards and wine making set up, as well as wine tasting and snacks. This was followed by an excellent afternoon tea. Very friendly place and a nice setting for tea inside and out. Thoroughly enjoyed this and plan to go back to the coffee shop in the future.

Our visit to Yorkshire Heart Vineyard was a very enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful. Wine tasting was fun and light lunch delicious. We were lucky to have good weather so sitting enjoying the last of our wine surrounded by beautiful vines was a perfect end to a lovely few hours! Thank you.

Easy to find, start with vineyard talk and shown around, then wine tasting! then went on for afternoon tea, very nice and took home 6 bottles too.

Our visit was in June and the weather was kind.
Greeted by the owner and listened to his passion to support this venture with his wife.
Interesting facts learnt and an enjoyed the wine testing and later lunch. Local to us in York and will definitely visit later in the season to see the vines in their glory.

An enjoyable and interesting visit

We really enjoyed our visit to the Yorkshire Heart Vineyard. Greeted on arrival with a glass of sparkling wine, we were given a very interesting tour and talk, culminating in a tasting with nibbles, plus a tasty lunch. We enjoyed chatting to other visitors in our small group and purchased a couple of bottles of wine - which we have since thoroughly enjoyed drinking. We were encouraged to revisit the Vineyard - especially on a nice Summer's evening - to sit among the vines and enjoy a glass of wine. I would recommend this tour it was a lovely, unusual gift.
