Great meal. Exceptional service

Our lovely neighbours gave me this treat for my 70th birthday. Wroxton house turned out to be a little gem tucked away in the country just a few miles from Banbury. Our afternoon tea was served by lovely friendly staff and the food was freshly made and tasty. In particular, we loved the home made savoury items. The scones and cream team were nice, but being from Devon, I would have liked clotted cream rather than the whipped cream served. Raspberry jam was provided rather than traditional strawberry. This is not a criticism, more of a preference. We would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone wanting afternoon tea in a beautiful setting. There is lots of free parking at the hotel so no need to worry about that.

We were brought this as a gift and were really pleased. The set menu had a lovely choice of food and gave us a chance to try something different. My husband had the grilled chicken and I had the steak both cooked to perfection and the taste was phenomenal. We then had puddings to finish and coffee. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning

Very friendly staff with actually good singers and dancers. Food was ok. Chicken tenders tasty but waffles too sweet. The staff kept us topped up. I think the cocktails were too sweet .I prefer classic cocktails rather than party house creations. Anyway we had a good time although probably a more fun vibe in evening but even early afternoon it was still fun. Plus they teach you to dance

The whole meal was so nice I took my friend who doesn't eat beef and she had fishcake and she really enjoyed it I use buy a gift all the time They are brillant gifts Thanku

Was in York, daugter for fathers day early, sent a voucher for Slug and lettice. staff were brillent and £40 covered 2 course meal plus sides to make up cost

Booked food last minute, very helpful staff on arrival and during the meal. Food arrived well cooked and hot. Had set meal . Would go back again.

Fantastic afternoon. We both ordered pizza and then ordered drinks. Bar tender was really attentive. Kept an eye on our glasses and regularly came to see what we wanted to drink next. My pizza went cold whilst I was taking my time and he went and re heated it for me. I didn’t like one cocktail, not a problem. Quickly changed it for another. Had a fabulous 2 hours sitting chatting and trying all the cocktails on the menu.

Food was excellent and we loved our cocktails. Will definitely go back again
