About the experience
Enjoy a tour around one of these amazing vineyards – a fantastic opportunity to experience how a working vineyard and winery operate. Find out how wine is made by the professionals and then try the finished product. The tour will encompass all areas of the vineyard, from the earliest plantings to the latest, as well as many other interesting topics. After you have had a good chance to explore, indulge in some wine tasting followed by a delicious lunch.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for two people
- Minimum age: 18 years
- You are advised to book well in advance to avoid disappointment
- Old Walls Vineyard is available Thursday, Friday or Saturdays April–Mid September
- Chilford Hall Vineyard is available Tuesday–Sunday from June–September, Thursday–Sunday in October, weekends only from March–April and Friday–Sunday in May.
- At the Hastings location, dietary requirements and allergies cannot be catered for. The lunch is a buffet style Ploughman's lunch including cheese, pate, pork pie, bread, relish and salad
- Please note that this tour is available on selected dates only and the agenda may vary between locations
- The time of tours will vary between each location

Truly wonderful experience
This experience was truly wonderful. We were met in the car park and shown to a seating area where we had tea of coffee. We were led into a marquee where the owner explained how the vines are grown and tended which was both entertaining and informative. We were shown around the vineyard to see the various types of grapes growing. We were then led into the winery where the grapes are pressed and the grape juice processed and saw the various vats and bottling machines etc. We then went back to the marquee for the wine tastings which was great - the different flavours really came through. We had a generous ploughman’s lunch followed by a lovely cheesecake. We then went to the shop and purchased a box of wine.
It was a really lovely relaxing experience and would thoroughly recommend.
