About the experience
Escape to Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve for a festive short break for up to four people. Stay in a cosy Pinewood pod, then head out to follow an enchanting light trail that winds through the reserve. Entrance to Port Lympne across your stay is included, along with a visit to Howletts Wild Animal Park, so there's plenty of time to spot incredible animals and soak up the seasonal atmosphere.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for up to four people
- Available Sunday–Friday from 28th November 2025 to 3rd January 2026, excluding 24th, 25th and 31st December and all Saturdays
- Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10am
- Entrance to Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is from 9.30am on the day of arrival until 2pm on the day of departure
- At least one person needs to be 18 years and above for this experience
- Warm clothing and sensible footwear are recommended for the light trail
- One camping pod is adapted for wheelchair access; please confirm accessibility needs with the venue when booking
- Standard Pinewood pods include one double futon and two small single beds. Breakfast is not included. Please note, shower and toilet facilities are shared
- Additional charges apply for any optional extras, including visits to Santa
- All dates are subject to availability

Great day out
The day out was great in all respects. But we had been given a gift and could choose anything up to the gift price. We knew we had to buy the experience before Sunday, but thought, due to all the BuyaGift pages saying, 'valid for a year', that once noted it was valid for a year. No. The experience had to be taken by the expiry date too and that's not made clear enough. Luckily we had decided to do it now so did not lose out. It costs £20 to extend the voucher. So I'd say, don't bother with an open voucher that can be used for anything, get the experience itself. Added to which, I was emailed a load of cheaper offers for the same experience but couldn't use them as I had been given a gift voucher. It was all a bit frustrating, but the day out, seeing the animals and tea were great.
