About the experience
Breathe in the mountain air on a two-night stay for two at Afon Rhaiadr Country House, a 5-star Victorian retreat set deep in Snowdonia National Park, with a full English breakfast waiting each morning. You'll unwind in the Classic Double Room (Rose), which has its own private bathroom just across the hall, while the lakes, forests and rivers of the surrounding countryside work their quiet magic. Days here move slowly, and that is rather the point. By the second morning you'll be plotting your return.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Your voucher is valid for two people
- Minimum age: 16 years
- A three-night minimum stay applies on bank holiday Saturdays and Sundays
- Available Sunday-Thursday, October-April
- Available Fridays and Saturdays for an additional charge
- Available May-September, on bank holidays, at Easter and from Christmas to New Year for an additional charge
- Check-in is from 4pm to 10pm, check-out is by 10am
- Two-night stay
- Upgrades to a stylish double, king or superior room are available to select for a supplementary charge per night

Too Restrictive
We ended up having to cancel this (losing our voucher) due to the restrictive nature of the dates on offer. Unless you want to pay additional money then a big chunk of the year is blocked for use with this voucher. The out of high season months that can be booked seemed to have very little availability, that coupled with the short expiry time on the voucher has meant that we lost out (T&C's lose voucher if cancel after boooking), I really wish we had exchanged the voucher for somewhere less restrictive.
