- Morning arrival with spa access is 9.30am-1.30pm with afternoon tea before 1pm. Afternoon arrival with spa access 2pm-6pm with afternoon tea before 4pm
- The maximum group size is six people
- Bring flip flops, gym wear and swimwear on the day
- The pool is unavailable for swimming Monday-Friday from 10:30-11:10am. Sauna, Steam rooms and Whirlpool remain open
- Minimum age: 18 years
- After booking, you will be contacted by the spa up to seven days before arrival to ask any required health questions and arrange any treatments that are part of your experience

Excellent place
We really enjoyed our spa day with afternoon tea at Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel. The staff were so friendly and polite. The facilities were excellent and the afternoon tea was fantastic. They catered brilliantly for my dairy free diet. Compliments to the chef.

Perfect gift
Treated by our daughter to a lovely spa with afternoon tea. Great facilities, lovely steam rooms and the most relaxing facial and massage. Afternoon tea washed down with Prosecco . Spent the night in a very spacious room and rounded off by a fantastic breakfast .

Nice swimming pool
Positive; nice afternoon tea, swimming pool, steam rooms and sauna. Slippers provided instead of flip flops, much more comfortable. Friendly staff on way in
Negative, changing rooms in dire need if refurbishment. No complimentary body lotion there was shampoo and body wash. Pool little cold but OK. People left towels on loungers fir extended times when using pool, sauna etc.
Overall,Very clean swimming pool and spa area, lounge. No juice on arrival or discount skincare voucher.

Disappointing
Afternoon tea usually includes a pot of of tea or coffee. We got one luke warm cappuccino. The white robes and towels provided have see much better days. The changing rooms are tired and dirty. The pool was very cold as was the jacuzzi. A local told us that the pump that heats the pool has been broken since November. This was a Christmas present from my sons & I am expecting a full refund be made asap. I spoke to Kieran who says he is a manager, he said he couldn’t get in to the ladies changing rooms to oversea their cleanliness. This is not acceptable & a poor excuse.
