The RSC’s Twelfth Night pairs Prasanna Puwanarajah’s lively direction with original songs by Matt Maltese, setting Viola’s disguise and Orsino’s longing against a sound world that heightens romance and comedy. With Samuel West as Malvolio and Freema Agyeman as Olivia, this London transfer brings warmth, wit and colour to a winter season at the Barbican.
