As the UK’s tallest building, The Shard boasts unbeatable panoramic views stretching up to 40 miles across the Capital. When you’ve seen the sights from the sky, it’s time to see them from the water with a one hour 30-minute Thames river cruise, including a scrumptious afternoon tea for two. This traditional spread includes a selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones for you to dine on as you float past landmarks like the Tower of London and the Houses of Parliament. Delicious!
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- You will receive two vouchers – both vouchers are valid for two people
- For The View from The Shard:
- Available for entry on Wednesday–Sunday, year round
- Once you’ve received your voucher, easily book a date and time online
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance
- Minimum age: 4 years
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- Infants aged three and under can accompany you without a ticket
- Your ticket is covered by a View Guarantee – if, on the day of your visit, the weather restricts visibility of certain landmarks, then you are entitled to a complimentary return voucher, received directly from the supplier
- For the Thames Afternoon Tea Cruise:
- Available Monday–Friday, year round
- Boarding commences at 3.15pm at Tower Pier; the boat leaves at 3.30pm and returns to Tower Pier at 5pm
- Seating is preallocated before the cruise takes place; your voucher entitles you to a standard seat on board
- Most of the tables are located in the middle of the floor space and in very close proximity to each other, with each table (or pair of tables) seating four people – aisles separate them from the window tables, which seat two people only
- The boat must keep to a strict timetable and so latecomers will be unable to board the vessel
- Vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options are available but MUST be prebooked at point of booking
- Please inform the venue of any dietary requirements upon arrival
- All dates are subject to availability

70th birthday treat
Everything was straight forward and simple and just flowed.
The staff were helpful and informative.
Brilliant time overlooking nearly the whole of London.
Obviously the weather was slightly cloudy up there but the view was second to none.
We sampled a drink and it went to our heads as we were so high up.

Unreal Experience
Seeing London from The Shard felt unreal. Being that high up makes the city feel calm instead of chaotic. You spot landmarks you’ve known for years, but from a totally new angle. It’s quiet, impressive, and honestly one of those experiences that sticks with you.

Lovely experience
I’ve been to the Shard several times, and I decided to take my colleague there for the first time as she had never been to London. She loved it. The views are of course, unbeatable, and we decided to go on a Saturday evening when it wasn’t too crowded. Highly recommend
