Things to do in Uxbridge

Great service, delicious meal, lovely restaurant with a good atmosphere. We really couldn't fault it

We went to the slug and lettuce, hanover street - the food was very good and the service was excellent. The afternoon tea was much better than expected instead of just plain bread for the sandwiches it was focaccia and brioche and the dessert was very good quality. Surroundings were clean and beautifully presented. Very instagrammable and modern designs

We went here on my birthday, and it was absolutely amazing. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, who went above and beyond to make it very special for me, from a room upgrade to a four poster , very large room, to balloons and a card in the room. There is free WiFi in all areas. Evening meal was really good, we chose the ribeye steaks which were cooked to perfection. Breakfast the next day was very good, with a choice from the buffet. We were allowed to leave our car in their car park while we went into Chester for the day, as there are bus stops almost outside the hotel. Please remember that this is a nineteenth century hotel, not a modern travelogue, and as such has quirks (which we love). All in all a fantastic birthday with remarkable staff.

Good rating. We were an hour late but they still managed to squeeze us in. Very enjoyable and recommended as well Thank-you.

A wonderful gift to give or receive. Really easy to book and use with many venues & options available. Booked The Griffin at Godshill, Isle of Wight. Staff super friendly and welcoming and the menu was fabulous and plentiful.
