Christmas Gifts for Him: Foodie

A lovely afternoon looking out across the Birmingham skyline on a bright sunny afternoon. The afternoon tea was so plentiful that we could not eat it all and had to bring some home! Plenty of hot tea, with refills on request. Would highly recommend.

The Benihana restaurant at Covent Garden was modern and very nice vibe. The dining area and restroom was very clean. We had lunch time set meal which was onion soup, salad, spring rolls, vegetables, steamed rice, prawns and chicken everything was very tasty and delicious. The chef was very entertaining with his knives skill. The atmosphere and the people we sat with were lovely and made our experience very enjoyable.

The staff was helpful, food was delicious and the restaurant has a lot of characters. We had a really special experience.

We both loved the tapas and the cocktails. There were lots of options of both too. It won't disappoint.

We enjoyed the bottomless brunch. We were going to pay to upgrade to cocktails but it was only jugs not glasses and I didn't think they’d be very good. He basically brunch was unlimited Pizza Hut we were happy with one each and didn’t even finish that but it was very tasty. The beer was Heineken and I got two four pint jugs one with only ten minutes left to go. The prosecco wasn’t prosecco though just very cheap fizz probably a quid a bottle at best and bloody awful. We kindly got fresh orange free to go with it but it got left in the end it was so bad. The bar was really quiet as it was a Sunday afternoon which was a shame probably would have been better busier but we enjoyed it all the same. The staff were lovely.

Excellent meal at the Savoy. Menu a little restricted only 3 options! Really tasty and well presented.
