Overview
Master the complex skill of hovering a helicopter. Take on the challenge in a Robinson R22 aircraft and learn to maintain the chopper in motionless flight. You’ll head to your chosen AA-certified training location, where an experienced instructor will take you on a training flight around the surrounding countryside. Embrace amazing views as you become familiar with this unique piece of machinery and attempt to take control and hover the helicopter yourself. It’s an admirable skill that all helicopter pilots have – and you can, too!

Well the staff at Heli Air was great and the instructor was good, however I was very disappointed that it all took 25 minutes from the instructor explaining the control and flying the Helicopter with. Me trying the controls and hovering the instructor landing and took a few photos. It shouldn't be call 45min one to one that's misleading. It should be called 20min one to one. They didn't allow video came or any other only some shots from mobile phones.

What a great experience the 45 minute one to one helicopter "challenge" was today. I wanted to get the feel for flying a helicopter and that is exactly what I got. After a short but interesting briefing by Simon the pilot, I then went up in the Helicopter and flew under very careful supervision ( ! ) myself, thereby getting the experience that I wanted - the real feel of flying a helicopter. I thoroughly enjoyed it and thank Simon and HeliAir for the experience. Would I recommend it, oh yes, without hesitation.

I expected a flight and then a hover tuition, instead I had the controls all to myself from 1,000' up and although something was telling me ...NO DON'T DO IT.... I did and was SO pleased to have actually piloted a helicopter.... Superb....just SUPERB, Mathew was such nice guy too.
