Afternoon Tea in Devon

A wonderful location and fabulous afternoon tea. We bought it as a gift for our friends but also bought a voucher for ourselves as we had been previously and had a lovely experience. The gentleman and lady serving were both attentive and not intrusive.

My boyfriend and I were given this voucher for Christmas and decided to use it in Bath on Good Friday. It felt like a real treat! In the S&L, the staff were attentive, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We also had two soft or hot drinks included. Highly recommended!

Staff were fabulous

Booked via Buyagift, on arrival the table already setup with the specific Buyagift 2/3 course menu. Although not all the usual mains available to choose from but still has enough variety. Desserts really nice. Overall very good value.

we were given a Buya git voucher for 2 to take the castle tour and the afternoom Cream tea. Booking for our visit was very easy castele staff bing very ppolite and easy to deal with. It took us some time to get suitable date as the tours only take place one day a week. However on the day we ere not dissapointed. On arrival we were met by a smiling friendly person who offered us a pot of tea. We enjoyed the tour very much, a very relaxed and knowledgable gent told us about the rooms and the artifacts and pictures. Then on to our cream tea that appeared without delay. We were offered the opportunity to walk freely in the Castle gounds. Looking at their prices I would opine that the afternoon was very good value and willrecommend it to friends

Huge variety of gifts to choose from. Easy to follow instructions. SOmetimes some offers can catch you out in terms of booking initial voucher then having to pay substantially more for a specific date/tour etc so I would recemmned you to read all details and find out inforamtion via emails/phone calls before purchasing anything. Other than that, the process and events are outstanding.

Enjoyed the tea, sandwiches and cakes served by very attentive and pleasant staff.

It was lovely and most enjoyable. Time to have uninterrupted with my daughter.

Buy a gift have been great.the fist booking was cancelled as the hotel was closibg. BAG refunded us and gifted a little extra as welas extrnded the boucher time. We eventually booked into Northcote and today, in a setting of a previous monastery that is now a hotel we finally had our afternoon out. We chose to sit in the lounge and tucked into our champagne tea. More than enough food for the two of us ( we brought some home) The young man looking after us was great too. Definitely recommend this place.

Lovely location and tea but what really made it were the staff. Because of the atrocious weather we were the only ones there but the Great Haldon even looks wonderful in the rain. The tea was excellent and banter with the Hannah the lovely who served us and the restaurant manager made it a special. Many thanks to you both.
