Had a lovely afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt relaxed and welcoming. The selection was great too! a nice mix of sweet and savoury treats and everything tasted fresh. Really enjoyed it! Lovely gift

Fabulous afternoon , thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot wait to do it again. Lemon cheesecake was superb. The beef in the sandwiches was very tender and tasty. There was so much choice I had to bring my scone home!

Visited the Lowry Hotel for Sunday lunch today. The food was as expected, first class. Trout Rillettes and Cod and Chorizo fishcakes as starters followed by Roast Sirloin and Roast leg of Lamb, both cooked pink and both were extremely tasty. We had a glass of house red to accompany our meal and for a house red, it was more than palatable. The food was served on a hot plate and it made all the difference. Lemon meringue and steamed Bakewell tart to follow. Extremely good value.
