20 Minute Tiger Moth Flight for One

Take to the skies in a restored Tiger Moth, the very biplane used by the RAF to train their pilots during the Second World War. Get transported to yesteryear and experience this historic plane in all it’s glory with a 20-minute flight with a pilot. Participants will be briefed by the pilot on arrival before getting kitted up in an authentic leather jacket and goggles. Once airborne, the pilot will talk through the workings of this vintage aircraft as well as demonstrate its capabilities. Fancy taking control?   Available March–October, except at the Gloucestershire venue which is open all year round. At the Shoreham location, it is available on Sundays only. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum height: 4’11. Maximum weight: 16 stone. Participants should be agile as embarking and disembarking is difficult and requires flexibility. Not suitable for people who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure or heart conditions.

The aircraft used at the Gloucestershire location (Staverton) is actually a Stampe SV4c which is virtually identical to a Tiger Moth.
