Wonderful afternoon tea experience
We were lucky to have the weather on our side - lovely warm sunshine which showed off the magnificent location - stunning country house with absolutely beautiful gardens - sat on the terrace and all we could hear was the birdsong - goat could mot have been friendlier or any more efficient - bottomless tea and coffee and just the right amount of attention to our needs - delicious food, all very fresh, including warm scones. Perfect quintessentially English way to spend a sunny afternoon.

Lovely!
Took my parents for afternoon tea here, would definitely recommened. Lastingham Grange is quaint and traditional, yet homely, and the food was delicious and all homemade. We were made to feel so welcome, the staff were lovely, and the garden beautiful to walk around.

Afternoon Tea at Lastingham Grange
We were very pleased with our afternoon tea which we were able to take on the terrace as it was a beautiful sunny afternoon. The sandwiches were very fresh with great fillings, the scones warm and light with jam and clotted cream. The raspberry jelly was very refreshing and the cakes a delight. We were able to take away a couple of cakes in a box for later. Staff were very attentive and offered fill ups of tea and coffee on a couple of occasions. It was a lovely occasion which we would like to repeat next year.
